ABOUT SUBMITTING VIDEOS:
- You MUST be either the videographer or the person in
the video. If you are not either than the video will not be
looked at by BMXTRIX no matter how good it is. This rule pertains to
Copyright Law and can not be changed.
- You agree that upon submission of the video to
BMXTRIX that BMXTRIX has full rights to use of the video within the website
and for promotion of the site (even if this is in another format).
This is only a license to BMXTRIX and not a forfeiture of your personal
copyright on the video. You agree that BMXTRIX retains the rights
to use of this video until such time as BMXTRIX no longer exists.
- Videos submitted to BMXTRIX should be in a
'standard' format that can be recognized by Adobe Premiere or Ulead Media
Studio. Videos are preferred in the ASF format! The formats
include MPEG (.mpeg/.mpg), QuickTime (.mov), ASF/Windows Media (.asf, .wmv), or
AVI (.avi). Videos in other formats, or using an strange compressor
may not be used due to problems with compatibility.
- If you have never worked with video before than you
may not want to submit a video right away to the site. Quite often it
takes several months/years of experience to get the quality of videos up to
a level that is acceptable to BMXTRIX.
- Not all videos will be used on BMXTRIX due to
poor quality or small size. Poor quality is any video that is hard to
see, is to small, or is poorly shot. The video just looks 'bad'.
- Company names/logos should NOT be in the video.
Videos are not for advertising names, companies, or other
sites and some videos may not be used, or may be edited by BMXTRIX to remove
the logo/name.
- If you are unsure of how to work with video and get it
on your computer but really think that you have some high quality footage for
BMXTRIX to use and would like us to handle it please send the video to this
address (videos are not returned unless a return envelope with proper
postage is included):
