Wallride

The idea is that you use a 8 feet quarter, then an 8 feet bank, and than again an 8 feet quarter. You can also use a 4 feet bank, if you don't have enough place. You can also use a 12 feet bank if the people can allreaddy do wallrides, this is also the setup you will find at the incline skatepark in new jersey, and it's real fun. At competitions like the worlds or palavas they use 16 feet banks. If your name is Ruben, and you come from spain, then you can use a 32 feet bank. but you can allways add or remove parts without to mutch work.

CAN WE BUILD IT? YES WE CAN!

  • Start with making the frames for the wallride, note that the 2 on the outside use 100cm studs, while all the onse on the inside use 104cm studs, this is because on the outside the plates are going over a complete 8x15 cm redwood, and in the middle only over half.
  • attach all the frames to the redwoods, the flip the whole thing over so you can allreaddy layer them with 18mm plates.
  • flip it over again, and now add the bank transitions, they should be on the outside, so use studs that are just a bit over 244cm long.
  • Place the whole thing up right.
  • Now build the quarters (as seen here). and whent they are done, attach them to the wallride
  • Layer the bank and the top of the quarters and bank with 18mm plates.
  • Layer the quarters like you want.
  • You will have to attach this whole structure to the ground, because the force that is going to be on the wall is a lot.
  • Add a nice grafiti on the wall.
