Jump Box


A street our park course is never complete without a jump box. The number of tricks that can be done are unlimited, and so is how mutch fun you can get from one of these. i could be more than happy just jumping itsuper hard, not doing any tricks, and enjoying af the moment you ar floating in the air. SHOPPING LIST

  • 3 plate from 122 x 244 cm (4 by 8 feet) and 18mm (3/4 inch), and some left overs
  • 7 plates from 122 x 244 cm (4 by 8 feet) and 9 mm (3/8 inch)
  • about 50 studs from 5 x 10 cm (2 by 4's) and 244 cm (8 feet) long (mayby 2 a bit longer)
  • good wood screws (lots)
  • 1 template plate

CAN WE BUILD IT? YES WE CAN!

  • Start by drawing all the lines like on the plan, and also draw the curve (see template on how to) on the template.
  • saw the template
  • draw the template on the 18mm plate, and cut out the transitions.
  • add the 120cm stud on the end of launch.
  • add a stud on the down part of launch, and make it so long that it suports the 3th stud (F2 on the plan)
  • add the studs in the launch, about every 15 to 20 cm.
  • Make the landing, and add the studs about every 20 to 25 cm.
  • Make the platform, it's just the same way done as the flat bottom. You don't need to add the platform, if you are shure you can clear it, you can place youre car inbetween. good for great pictures.
  • attach the 3 parts, and stud them with 2 by 4's at 45° (these are not in the plan, but do it.)
  • add the first layer to the launch, Don't leave a bit, because you don't want a coping. If you Will use wood as top layer, use 18 mm plates to layer the top and the landing, otherwise use 9mm plates for first layer and than add your choise of layer.
  • thats it. just your choise of top layer and you're done.
  • Now be the first to pull a double backflip barspin.
